Do turtles glow in the dark?

Yes! Well, at least some do.

In July 2015, marine biologist and ocean explorer Dr. David Gruber filmed the first bioflourescent turtle in history while doing research in the Solomon Islands off the coast of Australia. The hawksbill turtle glowed red and green. Though glowing in the dark has been well-documented in fish, jellyfish, corals, sharks, and other animals, it was the first time a reptile was revealed to have the superpower.
