Your pet turtle will want something to eat every day, but sometimes it only needs to be a snack.

Young turtles need to eat more often – they need a full meal every 24 to 48 hours.

Adult turtles do not need to eat as frequently – adults need a full mean every 48 to 72 hours.

On the days that you do not feed your turtle, it is advised that you give them a small snack (strawberry, raspberry, carrot, or beans are common snack items).

Pay attention to your pet’s hunger and you may find that you need to adjust your feeding schedule to give them more or less food based on how much or how little they eat.

ALWAYS have fresh water for them. No matter how old your turtle is, water is vital all the time: all day, every day. Be sure the water is fresh and clean.
